Some feedback.

Hello.

I try to use eTraxis Vrsion 2.0.2. But there are two troubles:

1. AD user with EMPTY email field can't login into eTraxis system :-(
To solve this problem I added this code after line 201:

if ($entries && ( count($entries) > 1 ) && empty($entries[0][LDAP_ATTR_EMAIL][0])) {$entries[0][LDAP_ATTR_EMAIL][0]="nomail@mydomain.ru";};
Is it correct solution?
2. It is not pure trouble. It is, possible, feature-request. An ability to link eTraxis groups with AD groups. Because there are many (about 10) sites with admins who adds users to AD. And all AD users must have access to common tracks. Users of each site are members of special per-site groups must have access to site-specific tracks. Is it possible to do now?

This workaround should work. But you updated only function "ldap_finduser"; similar workaround should be applied to the "ldap_findallusers", located in the same file.

I have been already told a couple of times, that for some customers email is not really required attribute, so it should be changed from mandatory to optional. After your question I'm starting to think that I really should make it, and I will do it soon.

Yes, you are right - it will be very useful ability. I can't say right now how to do it, but I'm going to implement this feature in one of the nearest releases (just in a couple of weeks).

Thanks. Modification of second function solved problem.

But there is another question. How to define list of persons who may be assigned to?

I've tried to describe it in the documentation, please check 'Responsibles' and 'Example' chapters (especially this part as most significant in perspective of your question).

The documentation is not ideal and complete, so if some questions will remain (or appear) - please feel free to ask them.

1.
My idea is to create special group "etraxis admins" who can do everything with tickets. And change state from any to any too.
So mebers of this "supergroup" are listed for assignment too. Is it possible to remove them from assigment list?

2.
There is template with first state "Start". After user create new record - his ticket is in "Start" state.
Is it possible to inform (via e-mail) users, who can move record from "Start" state, that there are new records to process?

No, it's not possible. The only thing you can do is to hardcode such behaviour.

Anyone, who would like to be notified about each newly created record, should set up a subscription for that:
  1. Click 'Subscriptions' button on the page with list of records.
  2. Click 'Create' button on the opened page.
  3. Select required project in the list and click 'Next' button.
  4. Select required template and click 'Next' button again.
  5. Clear all checkboxes.
  6. Set "notify when record is created" and "notify when record is cloned" checkboxes.
  7. Enter any subscription name and click 'OK' button.
At any moment the subscription can be disabled or enabled back. You also can have any amount of subscriptions and enabled/disable them in any order and amount.
